Tekken 8 marked its second anniversary on January 26, 2026, celebrating two years since the fighting game powerhouse launched on January 26, 2024. The game has continued to evolve since launch across two seasons of DLC content. Season 1 in 2024 brought back beloved fighters Eddy Gordo, Lidia Sobieska, and Heihachi Mishima, plus Final Fantasy XVI's Clive Rosfield as a guest character. Season 2 in 2025 delivered Anna Williams, Fahkumram, Armor King, and concluded with Miary Zo—the series' first Madagascan character—joining the roster on December 5, 2025, bringing the total to 40 playable fighters.
