Pokemon x Hatsune Miku VOLTAGE Live Concert Hits Tokyo Bay March 2026
Project VOLTAGE culminates in three-day arena spectacular featuring 27+ original songs from top Vocaloid producers
Two of Japan's most beloved cultural icons are joining forces for an unprecedented musical celebration. The Pokemon Company and Crypton Future Media have announced VOLTAGE Live, a three-day concert event bringing Project VOLTAGE to life at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY from March 20-22, 2026.

Project VOLTAGE, affectionately nicknamed "PokeMiku" by fans, launched as an ambitious creative collaboration pairing Pokemon with the virtual singer Hatsune Miku. The project assembled Japan's most celebrated Vocaloid producers to create original compositions blending Pokemon game music with Miku's signature sound.
27 Songs and Counting
The collaboration has exceeded all expectations. Originally planned for 18 songs matching the 18 Pokemon types, overwhelming fan response pushed the project well beyond its initial scope. To date, 27 original tracks have been released, with additional songs promised before the live event.
Each composition incorporates authentic Pokemon game BGM and sound effects, reimagined through the lens of electronic music production. The producer lineup reads like a who's who of the Vocaloid scene: DECO*27, jin, Mitchie M, Eve, and sasakure.UK among others have contributed tracks that span genres from rock to electronic to pop.
18 Trainer Miku Designs
Beyond the music, Project VOLTAGE commissioned 18 unique character illustrations depicting Hatsune Miku as Pokemon trainers representing each type. These designs come from artists who have contributed to official Pokemon character work, lending authenticity to the crossover aesthetic.
The illustrations reimagine Miku's iconic twin-tail design through the lens of each Pokemon type. Fire-type Miku sports flame-accented accessories, while Ghost-type Miku takes on an ethereal, mysterious appearance. Each design has resonated strongly with both Pokemon and Vocaloid communities.
The Live Experience
VOLTAGE Live promises to perform every song created for the project across its three-day run. The venue choice of LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY in Chiba positions the event as a major draw for both domestic and international fans, with the arena's modern facilities capable of supporting the advanced projection and hologram technology typical of Miku concerts.
The March 2026 dates give fans ample time to prepare for what's shaping up to be a landmark event in both franchises' histories. For Pokemon, it represents a bold step into music-focused entertainment. For Hatsune Miku, it's another high-profile collaboration cementing her status as a versatile virtual performer.
A New Era of Collaboration
Project VOLTAGE represents something genuinely new in the gaming and music landscape. Rather than a simple licensing deal or promotional tie-in, this collaboration treats both properties as equal creative partners. The involvement of top-tier producers and artists ensures quality that respects both fan bases.
The project also demonstrates the enduring appeal of both Pokemon and Hatsune Miku among Japanese creators. Many participating producers grew up with Pokemon and cite it as formative to their musical development, bringing genuine passion to their contributions.
