Monster Hunter Wilds Free Title Update 4 Adds Gogmazios on December 16
Capcom's massive free update brings the Giant Halberd Dragon Gogmazios, 8-player hunts, Gogma Artian Weapons, and the Festival of Accord seasonal event.

The Giant Halberd Dragon Awakens
Gogmazios, known as the "Giant Halberd Dragon" (Kyogekiryuu), makes its triumphant return from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. This mysterious Elder Dragon is covered in thick black viscous liquid, with a massive object resembling a Dragonator lodged in its back, a haunting reminder of past encounters with humanity.
To face this ancient terror, hunters must reach Hunter Rank 100+ and complete the Main Mission: A First Cry. This is no ordinary hunt.

8-Player Cooperative Hunts
For the first time in Monster Hunter Wilds, Update 4 introduces 8-player hunts. Teams consist of four primary hunters and four support hunters, creating an unprecedented scale of cooperative gameplay.
Returning characters join the battle as support hunters: - Nadia (Light Bowgun) - Fabius (returning ally) - Griffin (Great Sword) - Yamisugure (Light Bowgun)
After completing the extra mission, the Gogmazios quest becomes a permanent event quest, allowing hunters to farm this legendary monster at will.

Gogma Artian Weapons
Defeat Gogmazios to craft the powerful Gogma Artian Weapons, upgraded from Rarity 8 Artian Weapons using materials from the Giant Halberd Dragon. These weapons feature:
- One Series Skill and One Group Skill per weapon
- Gogma Reinforce function for strengthening bonuses
- Ability to reroll Set Bonus Skills and Group Skills
- Restoration enhancement with bonus carry-over or reset options
Additionally, the winning designs from the Monster Hunter Wilds Design Contest debut as a new Great Sword and pendant.

Armor Transcendence
Hunters at HR 100+ gain access to the new Transcendence system, expanding maximum armor levels. Rarity 5-6 armor receives enhanced decoration slots, giving veteran hunters more build flexibility than ever.
The Dahaad γ armor set arrives with the Arch-tempered Jin Dahaad quest on December 24, offering even more endgame options.

Festival of Accord: Lumenhymn
Celebrate the season with the Festival of Accord: Lumenhymn, running from December 19 through January 14, 2026. This seasonal event transforms the hub with festive decorations and limited-time rewards.
Additional Content
- New Optional Quests: Face trios of 9-star monsters with exclusive nameplate rewards
