Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined will launch on February 5, 2026 across multiple platforms including the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Windows, iOS, and Android.
The reimagined classic follows a young fisherman's son from the peaceful island of Estard who discovers that entire worlds have been mysteriously sealed away by a malevolent force. With the tagline "Fix the Past, Save the Present," players embark on an adventure spanning past and present to uncover the shocking truth.

Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined features charming diorama-style visuals that bring the world to life with a fresh aesthetic. The game includes updated mechanics and a streamlined story compared to the original, making it more accessible for both newcomers and returning fans.
