The Demon Slayer stage play series continues with its sixth production, adapting the beloved Pillar Training arc. Titled "Stage Demon Slayer Chapter 6: Pillar Training," the show is scheduled for June 2026 performances in Tokyo.

Dual Tanjiro Casting

For the first time in the series, the role of Tanjiro Kamado will feature dual casting. Shogo Sakamoto, who has portrayed the demon slayer protagonist since the stage play's inception in 2020, will continue in the role. Joining him is newcomer Hayate Takahashi, bringing fresh energy to the beloved character.

Both actors will share the demanding role across performances, allowing audiences to experience two distinct interpretations of Tanjiro's journey through the grueling pillar training.

The Pillar Training Arc

The story picks up after Tanjiro and his companions' hard-fought victory at the Swordsmith Village. With the final confrontation against Muzan Kibutsuji looming, the young demon slayers must undergo intensive training under the Demon Slayer Corps' elite warriors—the Hashira.

Each Pillar brings their unique fighting style and philosophy to the training regimen, pushing Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke to their absolute limits. The arc is known for its character development and the deeper exploration of the Hashira's personalities beyond their roles as powerful fighters.
