Another Eden x Final Fantasy IX Collaboration: Zidane, Vivi, Garnet, and Steiner Join December 4

Another Eden has announced its biggest collaboration yet: a massive crossover with Final Fantasy IX launching December 4, 2025. The event, titled "Memories of Another Sky," runs until July 8, 2026, giving players over seven months to experience this nostalgic adventure.

Four Playable FF9 Heroes

Unlike typical gacha collaborations, all four Final Fantasy IX characters are obtainable for free through story progression:

• Zidane (CV: Park No-mi) - The charming thief protagonist
• Vivi (CV: Ikue Otani) The beloved black mage
• Garnet (CV: Mamiko Noto) The princess and white mage
• Steiner (CV: Minoru Hirota) The loyal knight captain

Kuja and Beatrix appear as NPCs, bringing more iconic faces from the original game to this crossover event.

A Unique Story Approach

Rather than bringing FF9 characters into Another Eden's world, this collaboration flips the script. Aldo and his companions travel into the world of Final Fantasy IX, experiencing familiar nostalgic scenes reimagined with Another Eden's signature storytelling and stunning 3D cinematics.

Authentic FF9 Gameplay Systems

The collaboration faithfully recreates beloved Final Fantasy IX mechanics:

Trance Gauge - Characters build a Trance meter during battle. When full, they transform with new appearances and devastating abilities, just like in the original game.

World Map Exploration - Travel across a fully realized world map riding Chocobos, discovering hidden areas and secrets along the way.

Active Time Events - Special story moments appear during gameplay, offering glimpses into character interactions just like FF9's memorable ATE system.

Minigames and Side Content

The collaboration includes FF9's beloved side activities:

• Dig Here! Chocobo - The classic treasure-hunting minigame returns
• Chocobo Graph Exploration challenges with rewards
• Moogles NPCs offering shops, rest points, and the nostalgic Mognet mail delivery quests

Original and Reorchestrated Music

The event features original Final Fantasy IX tracks alongside beautifully reorchestrated versions. Composer Motoki Inoue has created two brand-new compositions exclusively for this collaboration's final dungeon and boss battle.
