SANABI: A Haunted Day, a free DLC spinoff for the acclaimed action platformer, is now available on Steam. Developed by Wonder Potion and published by NEOWIZ, this prequel chapter explores the origins of one of the original game's most memorable characters.
Son's Story Revealed
The DLC puts players in control of Son, who appeared as a formidable boss antagonist in the main game. Set 13 years before the events of SANABI, the story follows Son as she receives questionable orders from her superior to investigate an abandoned disposal site on the outskirts of Hanyang.
What awaits her there includes gunfire, explosions, and an unexpected encounter with a decorated military officer that will change everything.
New Gameplay Mechanics
While the original SANABI featured chain-hook traversal, A Haunted Day introduces entirely different aerial-focused mechanics:
- Double jump for enhanced vertical mobility
- Shotgun recoil movement that propels players through the air
These new abilities enable expanded vertical exploration and create a fresh gameplay experience distinct from the base game.
