Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Adds Mr. BIG as Final Season 1 DLC December 9

SNK reveals Mr. BIG as the final Season Pass 1 character for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, launching December 9 with his signature Arnis stick fighting style.

Mr. BIG Gameplay Trailer

The legendary crime boss makes his Fatal Fury debut. SNK has unveiled Mr. BIG as the fifth and final character joining Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves through Season Pass 1, with the stick-wielding villain set to arrive on December 9, 2025. Originally the main antagonist of Art of Fighting back in 1992, Mr. BIG now crosses over to the Fatal Fury universe for the first time in the franchise's 26-year revival.

The announcement trailer showcases Mr. BIG's devastating Arnis stick fighting style, demonstrating why the Port Town ruler remains one of SNK's most formidable fighters despite his years. With Geese Howard long gone, Mr. BIG sees an opportunity to seize control of South Town, and he's bringing his signature twin batons to prove his dominance.

Mr. BIG Returns from Art of Fighting

Mr. BIG first appeared as the final boss in the original Art of Fighting, released by SNK in 1992. Known as the shadowy kingpin controlling South Town's criminal underworld from Port Town, he was responsible for kidnapping Yuri Sakazaki, setting the events of that classic fighter in motion. Now, over three decades later, he makes his long-awaited playable debut in the Fatal Fury series.

Voiced by Yuki Arai in Japanese and Marc Graue in English, Mr. BIG brings a mature, menacing presence to the roster. His character design maintains the iconic bald head, sunglasses, and twin fighting sticks that defined his appearance in the Art of Fighting series, while receiving a modern visual update that fits perfectly alongside City of the Wolves' stylish aesthetic.

The story implications are significant. With Geese Howard's death leaving a power vacuum in South Town, Mr. BIG has emerged from Port Town with ambitions to claim the territory. This creates interesting narrative connections to Rock Howard's journey, as well as the broader conflict brewing in the game's EOST MODE RPG storyline.

Fighting Style and Moveset

Mr. BIG's fighting style centers around his twin Arnis sticks, traditional Filipino martial arts weapons that give his normal attacks exceptional range over most of the roster. Only Billy Kane's staff provides similar reach, making Mr. BIG a formidable zoning and space-control character.

His classic special moves return with devastating new implementations. The Ground Blaster sends a wave of energy across the floor, Cross Diving delivers an aerial assault with both sticks, and his signature Drum Shot unleashes a rapid flurry of strikes. Most notably, Mr. BIG can channel electricity through his batons, adding a shocking element to his already dangerous offense.

Terry Bogard ready to fight

The REV System integration allows Mr. BIG to extend his combos far beyond their original Art of Fighting limitations. When fully charged, his electric attacks gain enhanced properties, and his ability to cancel special moves into supers creates pressure that few characters can match. The combination of range, power, and REV System potential makes him a technical character with high reward for skilled players.

Season Pass 1 Complete Roster

With Mr. BIG's arrival, Season Pass 1 reaches its conclusion with an impressive lineup of fighters. The complete roster includes Andy Bogard, Terry's brother and Shiranui-ryu practitioner; Ken Masters and Chun-Li from Street Fighter as historic crossover guests; Joe Higashi, the Muay Thai champion and longtime Fatal Fury veteran; and now Mr. BIG representing the Art of Fighting side of SNK's fighting game legacy.

The Street Fighter crossover characters have been particularly well-received, with Ken and Chun-Li adapted seamlessly to City of the Wolves' REV System mechanics. Their inclusion marked a historic moment for both franchises, and the positive reception suggests future crossover content may be on the horizon.

REV System and Gameplay Features

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves represents the franchise's triumphant return after 26 years, bringing modern fighting game innovations while respecting the series' legacy. The REV System serves as the game's central mechanic, allowing characters to power up their special moves and access devastating super attacks.

The S.P.G. (Selective Potential Gear) system adds another layer of strategy, letting players customize their characters' abilities before matches. Combined with the REV gauge management, these systems create a depth that rewards both newcomers learning the fundamentals and veterans optimizing their gameplay.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Season Pass 1 is included with the Special Edition or available separately.
