Suda51's Romeo Is A Dead Man Revealed for PS5, Xbox, and PC

Grasshopper Manufacture has unveiled Romeo Is A Dead Man, an ultra-violent sci-fi action game directed by the legendary Suda51. This marks the studio's first entirely new IP in five years, following their work on titles like No More Heroes and Killer7.

A Dead Man Walking

The story follows Romeo Stargazer, a young sheriff's deputy who loses half his face and his right arm in a devastating incident. His grandfather, Dr. Benjamin Stargazer, a genius scientist and engineer, revives him using advanced technology, transforming Romeo into a "Dead Man."

Equipped with a device called Dead Gear, Romeo joins the Spatio-Temporal FBI as a rookie investigator. His mission: hunt dangerous criminals across multiple dimensions while searching for his mysteriously missing girlfriend, Juliet.

Ultra-Violent Dimension-Hopping Action

Romeo Is A Dead Man promises "super bloody action" with players swapping between guns and swords, using enemies' own power against them. Grasshopper Manufacture touts "ridiculously clever level design" and battles "cathartic enough to collapse the universe itself."
