Arc Raiders Launches Globally Across Multiple Platforms

Arc Raiders, the third-person PvPvE extraction shooter from Embark Studios, launched globally on October 30, 2025, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), and NVIDIA GeForce NOW cloud streaming service.

Developed by Stockholm-based Embark Studios AB, a Nexon subsidiary led by CEO Patrick Söderlund, the game placed players in the role of "Raiders" navigating a post-apocalyptic Earth ravaged by mysterious mechanical beings called ARC. The core gameplay loop tasked players with venturing to the dangerous surface to collect resources and complete contracts while facing threats from both hostile ARC machines and rival player-controlled Raiders.

Successfully extracted resources were brought back to Esperanza, an underground settlement that served as the player's home base. The game combined the tension of extraction shooters with more accessible RPG-style progression elements, offering a vast PvPvE sandbox environment.

The launch received positive early reception, achieving "Very Positive" status on Steam with over 200 reviews within hours of release. The game launched in two editions: Standard and Deluxe.
