Nintendo Launches Metroid Merchandise Line with Arm Cannon Pillow

Wearable Arm Cannon pillow, Morph Ball pouch, and Baby Metroid keychain hit Nintendo Store Japan.

Nintendo has unveiled an extensive new Metroid merchandise collection launching December 4, 2025 at Nintendo Store locations across Japan. The lineup celebrates Samus Aran's iconic arsenal and the series' beloved creatures with items ranging from plush accessories to kitchenware.

Arm Cannon Cushion Pillow

The standout piece is a Varia Suit Arm Cannon cushion pillow (¥6,600) that lets fans slip their arm inside just like Samus herself. The green plush replica features accurate detailing including the signature orange and yellow accent stripes on the arm guard section.

Morph Ball Pouch

A spherical Morph Ball pouch (¥3,520) comes with a carabiner clip for easy attachment to bags. The orange design faithfully recreates Samus's transformed state complete with the black seam lines and green zipper accent.

Baby Metroid Keychain

The Baby Metroid keychain (¥2,420) features the iconic creature with a transparent dome body containing three red nuclei, sitting atop the creature's pink membrane and white fangs. A perfect companion piece for series fans.

Metroid Silicon Ice Tray

For kitchen enthusiasts, the Metroid silicon tray (¥2,640) creates eight Metroid-shaped ice cubes or chocolates. The black silicone mold features the Screw Attack logo in the center.

The collection also includes a Glass Set (¥4,400) featuring Samus helmet and Screw Attack designs, a red and gold Gadget Case (¥4,400), a Stainless Steel Bottle (¥4,950) with Chozo markings, themed T-Shirts (¥6,050), a Pin Badge (¥1,650), a Foldable Eco Bag (¥3,630), and a Clear File Set (¥1,100).

A pop-up shop in Okinawa will also carry select items.

This merchandise drop arrives as anticipation builds for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, currently in development for Nintendo Switch 2.
