EARTHION EXA LABEL Launches on exA-Arcadia with Music by Yuzo Koshiro

exA-Arcadia released EARTHION EXA LABEL in 2025, the seventh installment in their EXA LABEL series, following AirGallet EXA Label,. The horizontal shooter featured music supervised by legendary composer Yuzo Koshiro, who created five distinct soundtracks for the game. Key visual artwork came from Mitsuhiro Arita, known for his Pokémon Trading Card Game illustrations.

Designed by Makoto Wada in cooperation with Ancient staff members, EARTHION offered two distinct play modes. The EXA LABEL mode focused on arcade-style scoring with emphasis on the Hyper system, which provided temporary invincibility and scoring opportunities. The ORIGINAL mode presented an enhanced port of the Mega Drive version with updated features.

Players navigated through intense shooting action with access to 12 different weapon types, each upgradeable to maximum power. The game included both Standard and EXTREME difficulty settings, alongside a SCORE ATTACK practice mode with stage selection. Industry-benchmark 1-frame input lag ensured responsive controls on the exA-Arcadia platform.

The exA-Arcadia version supported both horizontal (recommended) and portrait screen orientations, with 16:9 HD and 4:3 SD aspect ratios available. The game featured full English and Japanese language support with JVS compatibility for arcade cabinets.
