Aion 2: NCsoft's Next-Gen MMORPG Launches November 2025

After years of anticipation, NCsoft has officially confirmed that Aion 2 will launch in Korea and Taiwan on November 19, 2025, with a global release planned for mid-2026. Built on Unreal Engine 5, this next-generation MMORPG represents the complete evolution of the beloved original, delivering the definitive Aion experience fans have waited nearly two decades to play.

Two Skies, One Glory

Set 200 years after the events of the original Aion, Aion 2 transports players to a vastly expanded world—36 times larger than its predecessor. The tagline "Two Skies, One Glory" (두 개의 하늘, 하나의 영광) captures the essence of this epic sequel, where players will experience the continued conflict between the Elyos and Asmodians in a realm transformed by time.

The most revolutionary feature? Unrestricted flight. Unlike the original game's limited flight zones, Aion 2 allows players to soar anywhere in the game world, fundamentally changing how players explore, combat, and experience the fantasy realm of Atreia.

Evolved Combat and Classic Classes

Aion 2 launches with eight familiar classes that defined the original: Chanter, Cleric, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Ranger, Assassin, Templar, and Gladiator. Each class has been reimagined with modern mechanics while maintaining the core identity that made them beloved by the community.

Pre-registration opened on September 11, 2025, and character name reservations will occur from October 16-20, 2025.
