Venus Vacation PRISM Launches on TapFun: Play DOAX Visual Novel in Your Browser
DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme spin-off available via pay-per-minute cloud gaming - free to start, 290 yen for 30 minutes
TapFun has officially launched Venus Vacation PRISM, a romantic visual novel spin-off from the DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme series, on its innovative cloud gaming platform. The service allows players to enjoy the full game directly in their browser on PC, smartphone, or tablet with no downloads required.
The pay-per-minute model starts completely free, letting players experience the game before committing. Continued play costs just 290 yen (roughly $2) for 30 minutes, with access rights managed in second-by-second increments. This lightweight approach eliminates the need for high-performance hardware or large storage capacity.

The game features six playable romance routes: Misaki, Fiona, Honoka, Nanami, Elise, and Tamaki. Each character brings distinct personality and storylines, with player choices determining relationship progression and story outcomes. Multiple endings await those willing to explore every path.

Beyond dialogue choices, the game introduces a photography system letting players capture intimate moments with their favorite characters. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a "Time-Stopping Hourglass" feature for even more creative photo opportunities.

TapFun's patent-pending technology enables seamless play across devices. Start on your PC at home, continue on your smartphone during your commute, and pick up exactly where you left off. Progress syncs automatically across all platforms.

The service received Series A funding from Rakuten Capital in January 2025, positioning it as a major player in the emerging cloud gaming space. Venus Vacation PRISM joins TapFun's growing library of premium titles available through the browser-based platform.
