The second playable Nightfarer for Elden Ring Nightreign's upcoming DLC has finally been revealed. The Undertaker joins the Scholar as the newest addition to The Forsaken Hollows expansion, bringing a unique blend of faith-based abilities and brutal melee combat when the DLC launches on December 4, 2025.

A Monastery's Unlikely Champion

The Undertaker's backstory paints a tragic picture of isolation and purpose. An abbess mandated by her monastery to slay the Nightlord, her uncanny strength belied her physique, leading others to keep her at a distance. Eventually, she was assigned to the unenviable task of burying the dead—a role that shaped her into the gatekeeper of the afterlife she has become.

Boasting impressive Strength and Faith attributes with A-scaling in both, the Undertaker is built for players who want to annihilate enemies with ruthless efficiency while maintaining the speed to dodge incoming attacks.

Trance: Speed and Power Combined

The Undertaker's signature skill, Trance, transforms her into a relentless force of destruction. Upon activation, her speed increases to mirror dashing without consuming stamina, while her Toughness and combo attack power receive significant buffs. She also gains a dash step instead of a standard dodge.

When her Ultimate bar fills completely, a portion is consumed to amplify these buffs even further, creating devastating windows of opportunity for aggressive players.

Confluence: Team Synergy Unleashed

Her passive ability, Confluence, adds a cooperative dimension to her kit. When an ally recently uses their Ultimate, the Undertaker can activate her own Ultimate for free, essentially granting a bonus charge. This synergy can be combined with abilities like Duchess's Restage for massive coordinated damage.

Loathsome Hex: The Ultimate Art

The Undertaker's Ultimate Art, Loathsome Hex, is as gruesome as it is effective. She pulls an uncanny bone from her own body, speeds toward her target, and delivers a devastating strike.
